Half day City tour Duration: 3 and a half hours

Founded in 1616 by the Portuguese people, Santa Maria de Belém do Grão Pará or just Belém, keeps some historical secrets in its great cultural and ecological diversity. It has reached its heyday during the rubber era in the centuries XVII and XVIII, when the barons brought many colonial riches that today are historical heritages to the city. The tour will start at the Historial old city with the visits: Ver-o-Peso Market (Solar da Beira and Mercado de Ferro), Feliz Lusitânia Complex (Presépio Fort, 11 Janelas’ House, Saint Alexander Church and Cathedral, Sacred Art Museum and Círio Museum), Jewelery Complex, Nazaré Basilica, República Square and Batista Campos and Nazaré districts. Then continue to the new part of the city for a panoramic view. Important note: On Mondays museums are closed.
