Suggested itinerary:

Day 1 – Salvador
Arrival in Salvador and transfer to chosen hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 2 – Salvador
Breakfast. Departure for a Half day tour Historical Salvador
The tour starts in the modern suburb of Barra at the mouth of the Bay with its famous lighthouse. Then continue to the old historical section of town, the Pelourinho area with the largest and best preserved complex of colonial architecture in the Americas.
We stroll through the narrow, bustling streets lined with buildings in pastel shades of an age gone by, soaking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city. We visit the church of São Francisco with it's exuberant gold-leafed Baroque interior and the Pelourinho square, the heart of the old town.
Important note: churches are closed on Sundays and national holidays in the afternoon.
Return to hotel. In case the clients want, they can stay on their own at Pelourinho area for lunch and return to hotel by taxi.

Day 3 - Salvador/ Lençóis
Breakfast. Departure by private vehicle (from 5 to 6 hours journey). Stop for lunch on the way (not included). Arrival in Lençóis. Check in pousada Canto das Águas and at afternoon city tour by foot. Overnight.

Day 4 - Tour Serrano/ Ribeirão do Meio
Breakfast. Departure hotel by car to Serrano. Continue hiking until the Lençóis River, with its natural pools. Stop to swim in Cachoeirinha. Return by foot and continue by car to Ribeirão do Meio. By hiking, arrival at this natural pool with a slider in the rocks. Return to hotel and Overnight.

Day 5 - Poço do Diabo/ Gruta Azul/ Gruta da Pratinha Lapa Doce/ Morro do Pai Inácio
Breakfast. This full day tour is mostly by car, with short hikes to the natural attractions. The first stop will be at the beautiful waterfall formed by the Rio Mucugezinho at Poço do Diabo, with the option for tirolesa and rappel. Continue to visit the caves Gruta Azul, Gruta da Pratinha, and Gruta Lapa Doce, with 850 meters of extension and an impressive rocky formation in its interior. At the end of the day, hiking to the top of Morro do Pai Inácio Mountain to enjoy a 360° view, perhaps the biggest symbol of Chapada Diamantina. Return to hotel. Overnight.

Day 6 - Poço Encantado/ Mucugê
Breakfast. Departure hotel by car to Mucugê. Stop at Poço Encantado, the biggest attraction of Chapada. It is an impressive blue water pool inside a wide limestone cave, the best part is a great light that shows the rocks 40 meters under water. Arrival at Mucugê. Check in at pousada and time to rest. Overnight.

Day 7 - Cachoeira do Buracão
Breakfast. Departure hotel by car to the town of Ibicoara to visit the Cachoeira do Buracão falls, considered the most beautiful of Chapada. The waterfall is an impressive 100m high falls surrounded by breathtaking canyons. It can be visited from the top and from the bottom (by swimming between high canyon walls in the river below the falls. Return to hotel. Overnight.

Day 8 - Mucugê/ Salvador
Breakfast. Departure hotel by car to Salvador, located 450 km away. Accommodation at chosen hotel and balance of the day at leisure.

Day 9 – Salvador/ Morro de Sao Paulo
Breakfast and transfer to local pier to board the catamaran boat (regular local transportation) to Morro de Sao Paulo island. The sailing will take 2 hours and a half. Upon arrival, a local guide (not bilingual) will welcome the clients and walk them to the chosen hotel (luggage carrier is not included, it costs USD 6,50 per pax, paid directly). Hotels on the second beach are walking distance from the pier. Accommodation and balance of the day at leisure.

Days 10 & 11 – Morro de Sao Paulo
Breakfast and free days at this paradisiacal island

Day 12 – Morro de Sao Paulo/ Salvador
Breakfast. Local guide will meet the clients at the hotel and walk them to the local pier (luggage carrier is not included, it costs USD 6,50 per pax, paid directly). Board the catamaran boat and return to Salvador. Pick up at the pier and transfer to the airport.
