Suggested Itinerary – 4 Days / 3 Nights
Day 1 – RIO DE JANEIRO
Arrival and private transfer to chosen hotel
Check in and Half Day tour to Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden, created in 1817 by the king D.João IV, bound for the culture of exotic plants brought from all over the world, is a unique park due it is the variety of species. Return to hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 – RIO DE JANEIRO
Breakfast at hotel and departure to a Full day tour at Sitio Roberto Burle Marx and Casa do Pontal Museum. The Sítio Roberto Burle Marx is a center dedicated to research of landscaping, botanical and conservation of nature. The sitio belongs to IPHAN (National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage) and has a botanical collection with around 3.500 species of plants. Is recognized as one of the most important collections of alive plants in the world. The passengers will stop for a lunch at Maison VG. This bistro stays in a quiet street, surrounded by green, is a rustic and elegant place. Besides the exceptional food, the owner is an artist and the house has a detailed decoration. After the lunch, the tour will continue for Casa do Pontal Museum which is the most significant museum of Popular Art in the country. The museum stays in a green area of 5000m² surrounded by gardens, next to the beach. The collection of 8500 artworks represents different regions and cultural groups in Brazil. The Casa do Pontal offers guided visits with musical performance (The guide will follow the group singing popular songs) with the objective to entertain and approach art and visitor. Return to hotel. Overnight.
Day 3 – RIO DE JANEIRO
Breakfast at hotel and departure by Jeep to Corcovado and Tijuca Forest by Jeep (Regular tour)
At the Corcovado Hill, located in the Tijuca Atlantic Forest, it is the statue of Christ the Redeemer, one of Rio's most famous postcards. The Corcovado Hill, together with D.Marta belvedere, they are mandatory spots to be visited in Rio, for the beauty of the views from both locations. From the Corcovado, we can see the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and the Botanical Garden. From the D. Marta belvedere, the main attractions are the Maracanã stadium, the Guanabara Bay and the Sugar Loaf. This tour also includes a small walk inside the forest, a trail up to the Cascatinha Fall.
Day 4 – RIO DE JANEIRO
Check out and private transfer to the airport.
