Arrival and departure transfers

On the arrival transfer our guide will follow the passengers from the airport to the hotel and they will give the basic information about the city, including climate, temperature, population, cultural and touristic options and other necessary informations for proper guidance in the first moments at the city. Moreover, the services included and the departure information will be confirmed, as well as the information material will be handed out. On the departure transfer, our guide will follow the passengers to the airport and they will give necessary information about attendance, check-in location, boarding gates location, food court and any other information.

These services will be provided in the language requested and our guide will be properly uniformed and identified.

These services are provided everyday of the week and at any time.

Guided city tour in fortaleza

This tour lasts 2 hours, maximum 2 hours and 30 minutes. The main historical landmarks of the city will be visited, such as: beira mar avenue, considered one of the main avenues of the city, where the craft fair, the statue of iracema, mucuripe suburb are located. Mucuripe is a suburb that has a poetical, historical and economical importance to the city, where the port area is located. We will follow the praia do futuro beach, the most frequented of the city, aldeota suburb, which is considered to be the first  “upscale suburb”, where you can find dom luis avenue (tribute to the first archbishop of fortaleza), portugal square (tribute to mariners and portuguese colonists) and nossa senhora do líbano church – our lady of lebanon (the only one orthodox in the city), the mausoleum of former president humberto de alencar castelo branco, praia de iracema suburb (place of the eternal lovers), the bohemian neighborhood, where you can find numerous bars, restaurants, the famous pirata bar (considered the craziest monday in the world), ponte dos ingleses bridge, best known as ponte metálica – metal bridge (older wharf), dragão do mar de arte e cultura cultural centre, downtown area, where the city sprang up and where you can find the central market (handicraft market), the schoonemborch fort (fort around which the village sprang up), metropolitan cathedral of fortaleza, passeio público (first public square of the city), the former public jailhouse (craft center today) and the railway station.

There will be stops on the tour at: cathedral, metal bridge and tourist centre.

Day trip to cumbuco beach

Cumbuco beach is situated 38km from fortaleza, in the district of caucaia (west coast) and it is considered to be one of the most traditional beaches of the coast of the state of ceará. Its main attractions are a village of fishermen, coconut trees by the shore and one of the most beautiful dune chains of our coastline. Besides its natural beauty, the beach offers an infrastructure of beach huts with fresh water showers and varied gastronomy.

Visitors can enjoy an exciting buggy ride, which can be done with or without excitement, meaning, with much or little adrenaline, when you will meet the region and the beautiful lagoon of parnamirim, with stops for swimming and to have fun in the famous “ski-bunda” – small plank of wood. You can also take a trip on the high seas aboard the typical and traditional craft of our fishermen, the jangada (tipical yatch from ceará) or take the most romantic beach trip, that is the donkey ride.

Day trip to beach park

Beach park is a tourist complex situated on porto das dunas beach, 27 km from fortaleza, in the district of aquiraz (east coast). It is considered the largest and best beach infrastructure in the state. Besides the natural beauty of the area, formed by fixed and mobile dunes, coconut trees by the beach and the river mouth of the river pacoti, the visitor has an excellent infrastructure in this complex, that offers restaurants, showers, restrooms and the mainly attraction that is the water park, considered the largest in south america. The park offers a lot of fun with waterslides, artificial streams, wave pools and the famous “insane”, considered the highest waterslide in the world, 41 meters high, which is a glamorous attraction for adrenaline fans.

Day trip to lagoinha beach

This wonderful beach is situated 110 km from fortaleza, in the district of paraipaba (west coast). It is considered as a paradise on ceará coast and it has already been cover of several magazines of travel and tourism. There is no doubt it is a privileged natural beauty. It has got a simple and bucolic beauty, with dunes formation and coconut trees by the shore. It is an extensive beach foreshore and its half moon shape, bordered by dunes, allows a great vision of its extension. It is impossible not to fall in love with this calm and peaceful paradise. Despite being a village of fishermen, it has hosting infrastructure and great beach huts that offers wonderful dishes. In lagoinha, visitors can enjoy themselves and have a good time, take wonderful pictures, in a tour that is constituted as one of the best attractions of this beach. The ride is known as “trio”, because it involves three modes: the pau-de-arara (characteristic transportation of the hinterland of ceará), the catamaran and the buggy. During this tour, you will meet part of the settlement, the wonderful almecégas lagoon (one of the most beautiful of the coast), the region of dunes and a great extension of beach. Day trip to canoa quebrada

Known as the “high-vibe” beach, canoa quebrada is situated 163 km from fortaleza, in the district of aracati (east coast). Nationally and internationally known, it was a paradise for hippies and naturalists in the 70s. Undoubtedly it is one of the most interesting places of our coastline. Its natural beauties, its legends and stories, and especially its energy, catches the visitor. Canoa quebrada has a stunning natural beauty, composed of cliffs, fixed and mobile dunes, reefs formations and natural oasis, preservation area and a village of fishermen. Furthermore, it has an excellent hosting and beach huts infrastructure, which offers restaurants, showers and restroom. You will have a lot of fun! The visitor can take one of the most beautiful buggy rides of our coastline or enjoy admire the village from the high seas, on a wonderful raft tour, or fly over the beach in a paragliding ride. The extensive foreshore invites you to a nice walk, the flat sea beach invites you for a bath in its warm waters. Let yourself be touched by the atmosphere of freedom and the vibe that only canoa quebrada can offer. Day trip to morro branco and praia das fontes beaches

Morro branco and praia das fontes are part of the district of beberibe (east coast) and they are 85 km and 90 km distant from fortaleza, respectively. Theses beaches compose a unique landscape formed by cliffs, which are immense hills by the sea, an orange coloring and making a beautiful contrast with the sea. It also makes part of this scenario, the dunes and small freshwater sources. You can find colored sands in morro branco and at praia das fontes there are formations of small caves. The ride consists of two parts: first we will go to morro branco, where you will have the opportunity to see the cliffs, walk in mazes (open paths between the hills by the action of erosion) and see the colored sands. Then we will go to praia das fontes, where we’re staying until the return. At this beach, you will enjoy an infrastructure that offers rest and peacefulness. There are nice restaurants, great food, showers and restrooms. The visitor can choose to see all this scenario in either two ways: when arriving to morro branco, you may choose to see their beauties on a hike accompanied by a guide and then follow to praia das fontes on the agency transport, or, if you prefer, when arriving to morro branco, acquire a buggy ride and go all the rest of the way to praia das fontes glimpsing a wonderful scenery.

Day trip to mundaú

Mundaú is situated 154 km from fortaleza, in the district of trairi (west coast). It is a shortly explored beach, therefore, still very preserved, with an exuberant nature and nearly modified by the action of man. Most part of the itinerary to mundaú is done by a coastal road, where you will glimpse an unbelievably beautiful scenery. On one side there is the sea with an extensive beach area, where you can see fish corrals (ancient and traditional form of fishing in pens) and on the other side, you can see palm trees and a wonderful and diverse chain of dunes. It brings attention to the semi crystallized dunes that feature a darker hue and gives the impression of being overlapped by stones. The beach has a village of fishermen and the mouth of mundaú river, which gives rise to a mangrove area rich in fauna. In addition to good infrastructure with restaurant, showers and restrooms, visitors can enjoy a beautiful ecologic trip on the river aboard a catamaran. This ride is approximately 2 hours long. The time spent at the beach will be approximately 5 hours. The return schedule will be set by the tour guide.

Shopping day in fortaleza

The shopping day is 4 hours long, when we will visit the main places for shopping in the city, such as: emcetur (old jail reformed and transformed in to a handicraft center); central market (one of the largest craft markets in the country – it is four floors with several stores offering a wide variety of cearense crafts products); monsenhor tabosa avenue (considered the best brands outlet, where we can find the best in fashion of ceará).

Shopping day is held every day of the week.

Day trip to museu da cachaça ypark

Cachaça is undoubtedly one of the main products of the state of ceará, among which stands out the cachaça ypioca, conceived and produced by the telles, portuguese family origin who migrated to ceará almost a couple centuries ago, settling on a farm at the bottom of the maranguape mountain, where they started to produce the liquor. Currently the farm was transformed into a museum, which tells the whole saga of the family and of the initial cachaça production. You can also find ancient objects, parts, machinery that were part of this story, in addition to barrel, where even today you get stale liquor.

Visitors can enjoy the beautiful landscape of the farm in a delicious bicycle ride, buggy or gardener, and enjoy regional cuisine. Added to the museum da cachaça is the y-park with a range of activities that includes: kayaking in weir, zipline, climbing, nature trails and more. This day trip lasts 6 hours and it takes, approximately, 1 hour and 20 minutes to get there, from fortaleza. The return schedule will be set by the tour guide of the tour.

Day trip to águas belas beach

Águas belas beach is situated 55 km from fortaleza, on the east coast of the state of ceará, in the district of cascavel. A beautiful and quiet beach, great option for those who want to relax and take a trip unlike any other.

Cut by the river that flows into the sea, forming a beautiful landscape. To learn more about the beach and the biodiversity of the region, we recommend the buggy ride that lasts 1 hour and 20 minutes, going through ecological trails, an oasis of dunes and coqueirais (coconut trees).

According to the natives, águas belas beach is where the sun kisses the moon and the river embraces the sea.

The travel to águas belas beach from fortaleza exit is approximately 1 hour long and the time spent at the beach will be approximately 5 hours. The return schedule will be set by the tour guide.

Boat ride along the fortaleza’s shore

A great option to know and see the beauties of the city of fortaleza, on the other side. The boat ride along the waterfront of the urban beaches of fortaleza, with a stop for a swim at praia mansa beach (near the fortaleza port). The ride starts at 4pm and finishes at 6pm (sunset).

Our services include transfers from the hotel, in fortaleza, to the pier and coming back to the hotel.

Arrival and departure transfers (jericoacoara beach)

The distance from fortaleza to jericoacoara beach is 320km and each transfer travel time will be of 6 hours. These transfers services will be on a regular basis. Departure hours from the hotels in fortaleza start at 7:30am with arrival around 1:30pm. Our route will be on the highways until the city of jijoca. We will change vehicles for a four-wheel drive jeep or any other four-wheel drive vehicle, to go from jijoca to jericoacoara beach and our route will be on trails, dunes and dirt roads. We will arrive in jericoacoara in our supporting point (in front of pousada do norte inn). Please be advised that from this supporting point to the other inns, passengers will go on their own, for vehicles are forbidden on jericoacoara streets. The average distance from the supporting point to the inns is from 1-3 blocks.

We practice the same operational conditions for the departure transfers from fortaleza and the arrival transfers back to fortaleza. Passengers will have to go on their own from the inns to the supporting point. Departure from jericoacoara is set to 2pm, arriving in fortaleza around 7pm. Please be advised that during the transfer services to jericoacoara beach, we will not have the assistance of tourist guides, only of a transfer attendant.
