Feel the atmosphere of the colonial period as you walk through the charming streets of the Historic Center, getting to know its beautiful architecture, where every detail and symbol existing in the buildings carries a meaning and reports of important historical passages in Brazil.

Paraty was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its natural and cultural wealth, as it encompasses the Serra da Bocaina National Park, the Cairuçu Environmental Protection Area and the Paraty Historic Center National Monument. It also won the title of Creative City of Gastronomy by UNESCO, for its importance in the gastronomic culture and its consistent development. Irregular sidewalks, thick decorated walls, colonial townhouses with iron balconies and the symbols of Masonic culture represent its essence.

The City Tour is a pleasant walk, accompanied by an expert guide who will take the participants on a journey through time. They will visit beautiful art ateliers, churches and mansions in the city. At the end of the walk, stop for tasting cachaças and liqueurs (optional) at the Cachaçarias in the Historic Center.

Marvel at the stunning landscapes and the diversity of ceramic workshops in Cunha!

Enchantment: this is what tourists feel when visiting Cunha, located in Serra do Mar, between Paraty and Vale do Paraíba. Waterfalls, stunning landscapes and trails that cut through the Atlantic Forest are perfect settings for romantic, adventure or family outings.

The road to the city of Cunha is located within the Serra da Bocaina National Park and is 46 km long (01 hour of travel). Arriving at the destination, we visit the Municipal Market where the guide will show you the organic fruits and vegetables produced in the region, including the delicious dulce de leche. We will also visit the Church and Praça da Matriz, Francisco Veloso Municipal Museum, among others. For art lovers, we will also visit some ceramic workshops, where unique pieces can be found, from Noborigama ovens, which was introduced in Brazil since 1975 and makes the city of Cunha a national center of ceramic art. Then we continue to the restaurant where we will enjoy a delicious meal (optional), prepared with seasonal products from neighboring farms.

After lunch, we will visit the Lavandário with its breathtaking views and walk through the plantations of lavender, rosemary, lemon grass and other aromatic plants.

CANOEING PRIVATE SACO OF MAMANGUÁ

Tour in Canadian Canoes and Kayaks in the Mangrove!

Saco do Mamanguá is a sea entrance (natural fjord) with 8 km long and 2 km wide. It has 33 beaches and 8 caiçara communities. The bottom of the fjord has a beautiful area of ​​super preserved mangrove.

The biodiversity of the place is really impressive! Following the caiçara tradition of Saco Mamanguá, the most used means of transport are canoes. And on this tour they are the protagonists that lead us to discover the beautiful beaches of the region, the caiçara communities with a preserved culture and the local restaurants during an incredible tour in the midst of the exuberant mangrove.

The itinerary starts with meeting the guide at the reception of the inn, and then boarding a speedboat at de Paraty Pier, bound for Saco do Mamanguá (40 min). Arriving there, we start the canoeing of approximately 2 hours of rowing, where it will be possible to experience the caiçara culture, through the interior of the mangrove, until arriving at the natural pool, where we will stop for a bath and rest. After the stop, there will be a delicious caiçara lunch (optional), with typical local food at Praia do Cruzeiro or Dadico’s Restaurant.

At the end of the tour, we return to the Paraty Pier by speedboat.

Explore the famous Praia do Sono, a true paradise for those who want to enjoy the exuberant nature that the Paraty region offers. The trail starts in Laranjeiras, lasting approximately 1h15min, where different types of vegetation and birds can be observed, as well as passing through a spring to cool off. Along the way, it is possible to have a beautiful panoramic view of the sea, setting for lots of memories and photos!

The feeling of freedom when arriving at the beach is indescribable! A preserved place, with lots of nature and a small fishing village, with some options of caiçara restaurants, where you can stop for lunch, if desired. Antigos and Antiguinhos are two beaches accessible by a steep trail at the end of Praia do Sono, for those willing, it is an option in the itinerary. Departure from Paraty is done by private transport with a pre-determined round-trip time. Boarding at the client’s inn accompanied by an accredited bilingual guide.
