Suggested Itinerary – 9 Days / 8 Nights

Day 1 – RIO DE JANEIRO
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro, transfer to hotel Arena Leme. Check in, accommodaon. Overnight.

Day 2 – RIO DE JANEIRO
Breakfast and departure for a full day tour of Historical Downtown Rio & Sugar Loaf, including the Sambodrome, one of the most well known projects by Niemeyer. Sunset visit at SugarLoaf to enjoy the beauful view of Rio. Return to the hotel overnight.

Day 3 – RIO DE JANEIRO
Breakfast and departure for a full day tour to Niteroi city, passing by the famous Rio-Niteroi Bridge with an amazing view. Visit Niemeyer´s projects: Contemporary Art Museum (MAC) and the Niemeyer Road complex. Suggested lunch at Olimpo restaurant (not included), also projected by him. Return to Rio de Janeiro and overnight.

Day 4 – RIO DE JANEIRO
Breakfast and departure for a half day tour Corcovado, the most important postcard of Rio. Aernoon at leisure to explore the city. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 5 – RIO DE JANEIRO/ BELO HORIZONTE
Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Arrival in Belo Horizonte and transfer from the airport for a half day City Tour including the Pope Square and the lookout point, the Liberty Square, a booming cultural center, and the Central Market, the best spot to buy local products, goodies and handicra. Aer tour, accommodaon at hotel Mercure Lourdes and the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6 – BELO HORIZONTE
Breakfast and departure for a half day architecture tour, vising the great buildings created by Oscar Niemeyer: Church of Saint Francis de Assis, Yacht Club, Raul Soares Square, Savassi, and Museum of Modern Art. Return to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7 – BELO HORIZONTE/ BRASÍLIA
Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Arrival in Brasília and transfer from the airport for a half day City Tour including Our Lady of Fama church, Army HeadQuarters, Militar Cathedral of Brazil and the Jk Memorial, all created by Oscar Niemeyer. Visit Residenal Super Block South 308, a very impressive construcon by Claudio Neves, the TV Tower, by Lucio Costa, and the Buri Square, site of local government. Aer the tour, accommodaon at hotel Brasilia Palace and overnight.

Day 8 – BRASÍLIA
Breakfast and departure for a half day tour including the Republic cultural Space, Metropolitan Cathedral, Ministries Square, Itamaraty Palace, Three Powers square, Lucio Costa Space, Oscar Niemeyer Space, JK Bridge and Alvorada Palace. Return to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9 – BRASÍLIA
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
