Chapada Diamantina is a national park located in Bahia state, in the Northeast of Brazil. The vast Atlantic Forest, flower fields and plateaus of an endless green divide the landscape with stretches of caatinga vegetation. Huge rock walls, canyons, caves, rivers and waterfalls complete the exquisitely beautiful
scenery.

Suggested Itinerary: 6 Days/ 5 Nights

Day 1 – Saturday – Salvador
Arrival, reception and transfer to Fasano hotel. Balance the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 2 – Sunday – Salvador/ Lençóis – Chapada Diamantina
Breakfast. Departure to the airport to board a flight to Lençois, the gate to the Chapada Diamantina park. Arrival and accommodation at pousada Canto das Águas in Suite Encanto, with private pool and jacuzzi. Walking tour to the historical center. Evening at leisure.

Day 3 – Monday – Chapada Diamantina
Breakfast. Departure hotel by car to Serrano. Continue hiking until the Lençóis River, with its natural pools. Then you will reach the Primavera Waterfall, the highest point of the mountain and, in the end, you will enjoy its panoramic views. Return to hotel and evening at leisure.

Day 4 – Tuesday – Chapada Diamantina
Breakfast. This full day tour is mostly by car, with short hikes to the natural attractions. The first stop will be at the beautiful waterfall formed by Rio Mucugezinho and Poço do Diabo. Continue to visit the caves Gruta Azul, Gruta da Pratinha, and Gruta Lapa Doce, with 850 meters of extension and an impressive rocky formation in its interior. At the end of the day, hiking to the top of Morro do Pai Inácio Mountain to enjoy a 360° view, perhaps the biggest symbol of Chapada Diamantina. Return to the hotel and evening at leisure.

Day 5 – Wednesday – Chapada Diamantina
Breakfast. Departure hotel to the Blue Pool, located between Lençóis and Mucugê villages. It is always waiting for people who like to live with strong emotions. The dive in that cave, with sunlight, creates a fantastic effect on the water and a unique feeling. Then continue to the Mosquito falls and enjoy a nice swim. Return to the hotel and evening at leisure.

Day 6 – Thursday – Chapada Diamantina – Lençois/ Salvador
Breakfast. Departure the hotel to the airport to take the flight to Salvador. Connect with another flight or enjoy some extra days in the city (please consult us)
