Chapada Diamantina is located in the interior of Bahia and occupies an area of 38
thousand km², full of natural beauty. Chapada is an incredible destination for adventure tourism practitioners. In the region, the visitor will be in the midst of incredible scenery, surrounded by waterfalls, clear water wells, caves with rare rock formations and several trails. In addition, the region still has historic cities and a typical cuisine very present.

A stronghold of natural beauty, Chapada encompasses a great diversity of fauna and flora. There are more than 50 types of orchids, bromeliads and climbing plants, in addition to rare animal species, such as the giant anteater, giant armadillo, porcupine, wild cats, capybaras and countless types of birds and snakes. The Chapada Diamantina National Park, created in the 80’s of the century. XX, acts as a protective organ of all this exuberance.

The tourist infrastructure of Chapada Diamantina is installed in the municipalities of
Lençóis, Mucugê, Andaraí, Ibicoara, Palmeiras, Rio de Contas and in the villages of

Listed by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN), Lençóis e Chapada Diamantina’s portal, thanks to its hotel infrastructure, has more than two thousand beds high-level restaurants, and regular flights. Over the years, the city has gained a cosmopolitan air, with residents from the four corners of the world. Its main attractions are the 19th century houses; the history and culture inherited from the garimpo ( gold and stone mines); the Serra do Sincorá and natural attractions easily accessible throughout its surroundings. Many are located close to the urban perimeter, such as the Serrano wells.

Hotel Canto das Águas

As in a Hotel Gallery, the rooms and suites were all redesigned and now the visual arts are side by side with the art of hospitality. In addition to the renovated and redecorated rooms, the entire hotel is inhabited by works by local artists and artists from other Brazilian states. With this we want to invite you to live moments of contemplation and inspiration. A large swimming pool, with a special area for small children, organically curvy, pays homage to the river that runs alongside it. A huge leisure area with areas for massage, reading rooms and beds for outdoor reading, integrated into the green, invites you to relax, lulled by the sounds of the river.
