Day 9 – RIO DE JANEIRO/ PARATY
Breakfast and road transfer to Paraty, located around 4 hours away. Accommodation at Casa Turquesa Maison D´Hotels at Master Suite. Rest of the day and evening at leisure.

Paraty was declared a National Historical Monument in 1966 thereby safeguarding the preservation of the Historical Center. The winding, narrow streets paved with giant cobble stones were designed to protect the town from pirate raids and curiously, for a seaside town, most of the houses have their backs to the sea. Small fishermen’s cottages and vast merchants’ mansions stand side by side, all white stucco with brightly coloured shutters and doors. Vehicles are banned from the old town, and the wealth of art galleries, shops and restaurants are explored on foot. Bring flat shoes – Paraty and heels do not mix!

Days 10 & 11 – PARATY
Days at leisure to explore this beautiful colonial village.
Our suggestions of experiences in Paraty:
> The hotel can organize special experiences for the guests such as: walking tour, boat trip, canoe tour, standup paddle, cooking class, trekking, visit to local alambique (cachaca liquor producer) and more. We certainly recommend a boat tour to this destination.
> Local restaurantes we recommend in the city center – Banana da Terra (brazilian cuisine), Caminho do
Ouro (brazilian cuisine), Quintal das Letras (brazilian cuisine), Bartholomeu (latin american cuisine).

Day 12 – PARATY/ RIO DE JANEIRO
After breakfast, the road transfers to the airport.
