Olinda is one of Brazil’s best preserved colonial towns, an Unesco World Heritage. Placed on a hill overlooking Recife city and the ocean, there are always beauful views to admire. From scalloped wooden eaves and windows fronted by wrought-iron balconies to heavy doors fied with ornamental hinges, every street offers something unique. The small city has charming pousadas, interesng shops and some excellent restaurants.

Porto de Galinhas is a beach town, the major postcard of Pernambuco state. Its natural beaues aract the aenon of visitors from Brazil and abroad, mostly because of its famous crystal clear waters and the sunshine present almost all year-round. It is easy to take a jangada (local sailing rusc boat) and navigate to the reefs, reaching the “natural swimming pool”. At the city center, tourists can find many excellent bars and restaurants, also bouques and souvenir shops.

Suggested inerary: 7 days/ 6 Nights

Day 1 – Recife/ Olinda
Arrival at Recife airport and transfer to the chosen pousada. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 2 – Olinda
Breakfast. Departure for a Full day tour Historical Recife & Olinda
Discover the greatest historical and cultural centers of Recife and Olinda. The tour will start at Boa Viagem beach with its reefs (arrecifes in Portuguese) that originated the name of the city, passing through old bridges that connect the city with the mainland. Parcipants will see the contrast between the modernity of the seafront and the old buildings located at Old Recife
District. Then connue to Olinda (Natural and Cultural Heritage of Humanity) with its centenarian mansions, baroque churches and monasteries on the slopes that preserve the city’s rich history. Stops will be made along the route, providing moments of delight with the amazing panoramic eyesight of both cies.

Day 3 – Olinda
Breakfast and day at leisure to explore the beauful Olinda.

Day 4 – Olinda/ Porto de Galinhas
Breakfast and transfer by road to Porto de Galinhas, approximately 1 hour and a half.
Accommodaon at chosen hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

Days 5 & 6 – Porto de Galinhas
Breakfast and free days at this beauful beach desnaon. Oponal tours are available.

Day 7 – Porto de Galinhas / Recife
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport by paved road, approximately 2 hours.
