Trancoso is situated on a foothill from where it is possible to see beauful beaches, cliffs, rivers and coconut groves. It is 26 km far from Porto Seguro and the access is by an unpaved road. Besides the natural beaues, the town has also a great cultural and historical legacy to offer to tourists. The town used to be a small village founded by the Jesuits, who imposed their habits on the local people. Thanks to this dominaon, the city has a very specific architecture with a church surrounded by houses built very close to each other, forming a big square called “ Quadrado”, which is one of the most valuable historical sites on the discovery Coast. Almost 500 years aer its foundaon, Trancoso now watches the “invasion” of tourists from all over the world, who go to town searching for sun, sea, peace and history.

Suggested inerary: 6 days/ 5 Nights

Day 1 – Porto Seguro/ Trancoso
Arrival at the airport and road transfer to Trancoso. Accommodaon at chosen pousada. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 – Trancoso
Breakfast at hotel and day at leisure to enjoy the beach.

Day 3 – Porto Seguro
Aer breakfast, departure for a full day tour in Porto Seguro including a visit to an indian tribe and a historical city tour. Return to Trancoso at the end of the day.

Day 4 – Trancoso
Breakfast at hotel and day at leisure to enjoy the beach.

Day 5 – Trancoso
After breakfast, depart for a tour to Espelho beach. Return to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6 – Trancoso/ Porto Seguro
Breakfast and transfer to Porto Seguro Airport (only driver in Portuguese).
