Living new frontiers can always be a fresh start, that’s why we try to transmit in our itineraries a palette ofunforgettable emotions. In this, we will experience unique moments, bringing together natural beauty, local culture and something more than special: the Lavradeiros Horses of Roraima.

Horses of free nature, descendants of animals of the Andalusian and Garrano race, brought by the colonizers who in Lavrados de Roraima found freedom and adapted to the local environment, living, daily, the way of survival.

Our destination will be the interior of the State of Roraima, an interior with an earthy smell, with the tasteof typical foods, streams and centuries-old trees such as Samaúma (Ceiva Petranda), the largest tree inthe Amazon. In these lands, we will be able to ride a horse listening to the birds singing, and with a little luck find the Giant Anteater (Myrmecophaga tridactyla), animal symbol of the Lavrado.

Seasonality: It can be operated throughout the year, except in the months between May and August, when the incidence of rain is greater and impairs activities.

1st day: Boa Vista
Arrival in Boa Vista, and transfer to Aipana Plaza Hotel, where we will meet at 3:00 pm to get to know each other and pass on information about our entire tour. This day will be the time to visit Boa Vista, capital of Roraima, a statebordering Venezuela and Guyana, before heading to our destination: Amajarí, in the Lavrados. Boa Vista, is a city far from the traditional tourist axis of Brazil, so little known, but very interesting as to its modernist architecture, withgreat avenues, squares and bathed by the famous Rio Branco, which cuts across the city and that at the end of afternoon, we will take a walk. Certainly, it will be a special moment, but there is nothing we can write that can convey the excitement of the tour that marks the beginning of this expedition. At the end of the day we will meet by the pool, to feel the evening breeze and to have a brief informative meeting about our expedition
that is beginning, to discuss the experiences that we will have in the next few days. After all, this trip to the interior of Roraima is a new frontier of Rural Brazil that is opening up and few people, until today, have had the chance to live. Recalling that, for this reason, there are few support points available during the journey of our expedition to meet the Lavradeiros de Roraima horses. Therefore, we will adopt a trip named “Margarida”, because every day we will leave this one that is one of
the most traditional farms in the State; it is the rural producers who create the Lavradeiros troop and who in recent years have received anxious visitors wanting to know the local rural universe. Bacabal Farm, the place where we will stay and where we will always return in the late afternoon, after entering different trails and knowing various biomes. Thus, fulfilling a script in the shape of petals always turned to its centralcore, which can be done on horseback or vehicle accompanying the troop for those who feel more comfortable.

2nd day: Boa Vista / Amajarí / Fazenda Bacabal After breakfast, travel to Amajarí, heading towards Lavrado, arriving at one of the historic local farms, which is part of the historic agricultural expansion of our productive borders. The journey is not long, approximately two hours byroad in good condition, which takes us on the way from the interior to the national border, after all, following a little more along this road, we would arrive in Venezuela. Upon arriving, we will be welcomed by our hosts for a welcome. This is a farm with good service and lodging conditions, but, remember, we are in a rural environment with an open spirit for these rural experiences. We will make a quick setting, knowing where we will be stayingafter, a lunch prepared with care and traditionality of this farm. A short break to rest, we are prepared to start our equestrian activities. We are going to the countryside to meet the troop of “Horses Lavradeiros”, our partners in the next days of this journey. Interesting fact, is that an approximation and choice of our peers starts to happen naturally and thus we will make a brief walk around the farm, for ambiance. At the beginning of the night, a conversation will take place at the foot of the wheel, with Babazinho, owner of the farm that together with his family receive with the art of the traditional hosts of Roraima, telling the saga of the generations when they explored theselands. We will have the opportunity to hear a little about the farm horses, about the travel safety rules adopted by the property, to validate our proposal of experience with safety and quality. Right after dinner, we will have a good night’s sleep, after all, the next day we will start our expedition.

3rd day: Bacabal Farm / Pirarucu Lake / Várzea Lagoon / Rio Amajarí Rapids
We start our day in the rural lands of Roraima, with a hearty breakfast with local fruits and delicacies and then depart for the field where we will meet the troop of Lavradeiros Horses that awaits us prepared with equipment to start the horseback rides in the savanna. Our first destination will be the Pirarucu Lake, a trail of rare beauty, with stops along the way to see the local flora and fauna. This trail lasts an average of three to four hours, according to the stops for observing natural life with the right to a quick stop for a short rest, a water and light snacks. After this rest, not only for us, but also for the troop of farm horses, we head towards Lagoa de Várzea, nursery of several species of fish. In these trails we will be able to observe a great diversity of birds, reptiles and mammals, and, with luck, we will find wild farm horses that live in the region. Our path will be between savannas and forest with observation of wildlife, stopping at the bend of the river in the “Desce de Bunda in the rapids of the Amajarí River”, as the people of those lands call, which allows us to bathe in the cold waters before lunch, which helps us to rest our body, mind and make our meal, which will be a picnic in the countryside. Because, on days like this, the pleasure of eating in the countryside, resting and returning quietly will always bring us experiences similar to those experienced by the daily people of the land. The arrival at the farm is scheduled at sunset, with a coffee with delicacies prepared with love. Also, whoever wants to continue in the equestrian arts, how about participating in thetreatment of your horse, removing the junk and giving a bath, after all everyone deserves it. A bath break and then dinner, chatting with people from the local community, such as the famous leather craftsman who dominates the artof hammock and story. Rest, after all we have new experiences tomorrow.

Overnight Fazenda Bacabal

4th day: Visit to the Historic Farms of Roraima
Our fourth day of rural journeys in the lands of Roraima begins, walking along paths that will form the next petal of the Daisy. On this day, we will make a long journey, so our breakfast will be at dawn, around 6:00 am with a “Safe Chest” typical food of
people who go to the market, in addition to a rich traditional breakfast with fruits and delicacies. Afterwards, we go out to the countryside, find the troop and we set off on a unique tour, visitingHistorical Farms of Roraima on a trail that makes us follow the banks of the rivers, which helped to explore this region. At each stop on this journey, we will be able to meet famous explorers of these lands, or their descendants who built this State, carrying troops, bringing supplies, clearing mountains and much more. On this day, lunch will be at one of these typical farms that, since the beginning, has been part of the exploration of these corners. Stopping moments to admire rich and unique landscapes of this abundant nature usually happen every three hours, because in addition to us, our horses need to rest a little. A tip during the journey of great travelers on horseback, that instead of always being mounted, go down a bit and pull the animals for a few moments, both to strengthen our relations with these partners, as well as to stretch our legs a little. This attitude will do them good, and you. Indigenous communities and flour houses will get to know the cassava fields and the tales of the missionaries who passed there, are attractive beyond the gallop. Regional lunch at the historic farm that we are going to arrive, around 12h00, with butter cheese and Paçoca de Roraima which is made from manioc flour and dried meat will be very welcome. Then a well-deserved rest with
an interpretive walk through Amajarí, through the woods on small islands of forest, in the middle of the river.
